Modern Romance Proposals was founded in 2021 with a simple idea that proposals deserve the same level of thought, care and organisation as any meaningful life moment.
At the time, proposal planning was rarely treated as a professional service. Most people were left to organise locations, styling and timing themselves, often under pressure and without support.
Modern Romance Proposals was created to change that.
From the beginning, our focus has been on creating proposal experiences that feel calm, intentional and well considered, whether simple in nature or more elevated in scale.
I knew I wanted to propose in a way that would leave her speechless but I had no idea how to make it happen without her finding out. The Modern Romance Proposals team created something beyond anything I could have imagined.
We arrived by private helicopter to a secluded vineyard, where a string quartet was already playing our favourite song. The table was setup and the most beautiful flowers we had ever seen. As the sun set, I asked her to marry me and she said yes.
Every single detail from the champagne to the timing of the fireworks was flawless. This wasn’t just a proposal, it was an entire experience we’ll be telling our children and grandchildren about. Worth every cent.”
